Buffalo Bisons Unveil New Uniform

January 16, 2009

The Met’s new minor league affiliates, the Buffalo Bisons, have gotten new uniforms  to go along with their new logo. This is what their old logo was, pre-NY Mets affiliation:

This is the new one: buffalo-bisons-new ( I know it’s old news but it goes along with the idea of new uni’s)

I can’t find any pictures of the new uniforms besides this one that accompaines the article. Check it out, they’re pretty decent. The only one I don’t like is the black jersey ones, they look tacky and even uglier than the one the Mets wear. The gray one is pretty cool because it looks like the one the Mets wear, even the lettering looks the same.

Oh and by the way, the Mets signed Buffalo Bison outfielder Jason Cooper to a minor league deal today.

The New York Mets today announced they have signed long-time Bisons outfielder and fan favorite Jason Cooper to a minor league deal. Mets’ Director of Minor League Operations Adam Wogan announced the signing to an appreciative crowd at the team’s annual Hot Stove Luncheon at the Adam’s Mark Hotel

In 2008, Cooper hit .247 with nine home runs and 45RBI in 102 games with the club. He finished 2nd on the team in triples (4), 3rd in games, T3rd in home runs and 4th in RBI and doubles (19). –
