Dunn Dunn Dunn!

We’re gonna be seeing a lot of Adam Dunn this season. No, not playing in blue & orange – playing in red & white.

The Nationals have signed Adam Dunn to a 2 year/$20 mil. deal today. Dunn, a 29 year old lefty power hitter will definitely improve their already decent lineup and with our luck, he’ll crush the Mets.

Dunn, who will join Ryan Zimmerman in the middle of the lineup, has hit at least 40 home runs in each of the past five seasons. While he has just a .247 career batting average, he has a .381 on-base percentage and can play both left field and first base.

However, many people were wondering what the Nats were now gonna do having a surplus of outfielders which include Milledge, Dukes, Pena, Kearns and Harris. Most likely they would have had to trade one or two of those guys in order to make room in the OF for Dunn, but Dunn is listed as their first baseman – looks like Nick Johnson is out of his spot.
